I've been curious about this place for months! Finally went in and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I had a two item combo w/Jalapeño Chicken & Orange Chicken. It was fresh, good texture, and portions/price a little bit better than Panda Express. My only note is the Orange Chicken needed a bit more flavor however I would certainly go back. I also had a HoneyDew Boba Drink that I enjoyed. Definitely check them out!

Located in a non descript strip mall in East Hollywood, this place serves combo style of steam tables that far surpasses the giant in the field, but what makes it special is their delicious war won for 11 bucks with white rice. They are also part of the small group of Chines places selling chop suey. Its terrific.

This is a pretty solid Chinese place at a great price. We got a 2 item plate - chow mein, bbq chicken and bbq pork. The chow mein was good but not great. The bbq chicken was delicious- very moist and great flavor. The bbq pork was ok - a little dry and tough but good flavor. The service was friendly and quick and the tables were clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back and try other items. Our total for the one plate and two water bottles was $13.05!! A great deal for a filling meal.

I have been living in Hollywood for many many years I drove by this place so many times. The only reason why I haven't stopped and tried it it's because of the parking lot situation. Well today I decided to give it a go. I found parking and ordered the two item combo honey walnut shrimp without the walnuts an orange chicken that has a little spiciness to it it also came with fried rice and chow Mein. The whole order came to almost $13 .They have a large selection of food to choose from at modest pricing .The food is definitely delicious and I do highly recommend if you're in the area you should definitely give it a try.

Bang for your buck? Yup Food stacked to the rafters? Yup Friendly service? Yup Got half half noodles/rice with broccoli beef and bbq chicken. $11 ish. Nice on the price. Food very decent. Chance to watch Waymo car trapped in the lot? Yup I'll be back.

Clean place, generous portions and great prices! In this economy for this much food and it only cost $11ish that's a deal. It's enough for 2 people tbh. I usually come by when I forget to bring lunch and it hasn't disappointed me so far.

Hey, Maxim's isn't going to receive any Michelin stars or James Beard awards, nor will it receive kudos from any interior decorators, so expect little from this fast food restaurant located in the corner mini mall at Hollywood Blvd & Gower. That said, if you want heaping portions of affordable buffet Chinese food at prices more affordable than Panda a few streets over to the west? Try Maxim's Chinese Food out sometime... it's pretty good and they are nice folks there.
